How to register and list your business — English text

1. Step 1 — Create your account

   You can start from any page on the site.

   Tap the menu button (☰) in the top corner of the page. This is the only menu on the site — every path starts here.

   Choose "Sign In". Note there is no separate sign-up button in the menu — the route to the registration page runs through this login page.

   At the bottom of the login page you'll see "Don't have an account? Sign up". Click "Sign up".

   The registration form is now open. Fields marked with a star (*) are required.

   What to click: Menu (☰) → Sign In → Sign up

   If you'd rather not create a password, "Continue with Google" completes this step and the email-verification step in one go. It is the fastest route.

   The "I agree to the Terms and Conditions" box must be ticked, or the create-account button will not proceed.

2. Step 2 — Verify your email

   Right after pressing "Create Account".

   The page does not change. A green message and a panel titled "Verify Your Email" appear right there. That means the account was created — don't worry that you haven't gone anywhere.

   Persians Home sends you an email. Open your inbox and click the verification link inside it.

   If the email doesn't arrive, press "Resend Verification Email" in that same panel to have it sent again.

   If you don't see it, check your Spam or Junk folder — verification emails usually land there.

   If you signed in with Google, this step is already done — there is nothing to do.

3. Step 3 — Sign in

   Go back to the login page, enter your email and password, and press "Sign In".

   Forgotten the password? Click "Forgot your password?" and a reset link is emailed to you.

   What to click: Sign In

   Until you are signed in, typing the add-listing address straight into the browser bounces you back to this login page. That is not a fault — you must sign in first.

4. Step 4 — Go to Add Listing

   Open the menu (☰) again. Now that you're signed in, the menu options have changed.

   Click "Add Listing". The listing-type chooser opens.

   What to click: Menu (☰) → Add Listing

   Before you go on, search the map for your business name — it may already be listed. If it is, write to us from the Contact Us page under "Add or claim a business listing" rather than creating a new listing — otherwise you end up with two separate pins.

5. Step 5 — Choose what you are listing

   The page is headed "Choose your Listing type". You'll see three cards, each with its own form and pricing. Pick one:

   Business — a shop, restaurant, clinic, office, or any service you provide on an ongoing basis. It stays on the map for as long as the subscription is active.

   Event — a concert, celebration, class, or gathering. An event has dates, and unlike the other two it is billed per day, not per month.

   Property — a home or unit for sale or rent. This type has only two plans: Free and Gold.

6. Step 6 — Choose your plan

   You now see the plan comparison. This is the decision that matters most, because your plan decides which parts of the form open up for you.

   The page is headed "Choose your business plan". Just below it is a "Monthly / Yearly" switch. Choose "Yearly" and a "Save 17%" badge appears, with the annual price replacing the monthly one.

   Click the card for the plan you want. You go straight to the listing form.

   The free plan is genuinely free and asks for no card. If you're unsure, start free — you can upgrade whenever you like and your listing is not lost.

   One thing worth knowing: if you upgrade later from the free plan, you are billed monthly and the 17% yearly discount is not available to you. The yearly price can only be taken here, when you first choose a plan.

7. Step 7 — Fill in the listing form

   The page is headed "Complete your business information". It is all one long page — scroll down to see every section.

   Sections your plan doesn't include are greyed out and tagged "Silver Required" or "Silver+ Required" — they're locked, not broken.

   Three things are mandatory or the listing will not save: the business name, the category, and the street address.

   On top of those, at least one of a phone number or an email address is required. Give neither and you'll get an error.

   What to click: CREATE LISTING → or / CREATE LISTING & PAYMENT

   The description field accepts Persian characters only. Typing English gives you "Only Persian characters are allowed". Use the separate secondary-name field for a Latin-script name.

   This directory is for the diaspora. A listing whose country is Iran is refused. Browsing the site and creating an account stay open to everyone — only listings located inside Iran are blocked.

   The button at the foot of the form depends on your plan: "CREATE LISTING" on the free plan, "CREATE LISTING & PAYMENT" on a paid one.

8. Step 8 — Add your photos

   How many photos you may upload depends entirely on your plan and listing type. The table in Step 6 gives the exact number.

   Photos are compressed automatically before upload, so there's no need to shrink them yourself.

   The surprising one: for business and event listings, Silver includes no photos at all — photos start at Gold. Property listings, by contrast, allow photos even on the free plan.

9. Step 9 — Pay

   If you chose the free plan there is no payment step — your listing publishes immediately. Skip to Step 10.

   For paid plans, submitting the form takes you to a page headed "Review & Complete Payment", showing a summary of your listing and the amount.

   Press "PAY WITH CARD". You are handed to Stripe's secure page and enter your card details there. Persians Home never sees your card number.

   After paying you'll see "Payment Successful!" and are moved on automatically after three seconds. There is nothing to click.

   Until payment completes, the listing sits in a "pending payment" state and does not appear on the map. That is expected.

   What to click: PAY WITH CARD

   The subscription renews automatically. To stop it, use "Downgrade to free" on the listing in your dashboard — not the billing section, which only shows your invoices.

10. Step 10 — Your listing goes live

    On the free plan you'll see a green "Business listing created successfully!" message and are returned to the map.

    Once active, your listing appears on the main map and in search results, and gets its own page.

    From your dashboard you can edit the listing or delete it permanently. Note there is no "hide it for a while" option — the Public/Hidden badge only reports the state, it is not a button.

11. Step 11 — Advertising: rising to the top

    This part is optional and opens only for Gold subscribers. What it does is simple: your listing is shown above the others in search results, carrying a "Sponsored" label.

    It is an auction. Each business offers a monthly amount, and position is ordered by the highest offer. The more you bid, the higher you sit.

    Space is capped: on any results page, at most half the listings can be sponsored. The rest of the page always goes to ordinary listings.

    If someone outbids you, you are emailed so you can raise your offer if you want to.

    This cost is separate from — and on top of — your Gold subscription fee. Your card is charged immediately.

Common questions

Can I change my plan later?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade from your dashboard. Your listing isn't deleted — sections of it simply open up or lock again.

How many listings can I create?

There is no cap on how many listings one account may hold. Each listing carries its own plan and its own payment.

Will my phone number be public?

Yes. The point of the directory is that customers can reach you, so any number you enter is shown on the listing page. Use a number you're happy to publish.

What if I stop paying?

Your listing is not removed from the map. On the very first failed payment the subscription is cancelled and the listing reverts to the free plan, but it stays on the map — there is no grace period. Whatever the free plan does not include (photos, description, working hours and the extra phone numbers) is removed from the listing, so if you upgrade again you will need to enter those afresh.

My business is already on the map. How do I take it over?

Your business may already be listed on the map. There is no self-service claim button yet — write to us from the Contact Us page under the topic "Add or claim a business listing" and we will move it to your account. If you create a new listing instead, you will end up with two separate pins.

Can I get a refund?

No. Under the terms of service payments are final and non-refundable, including for unused time. Delete a paid listing mid-cycle and the rest of that cycle is forfeited.

Where do I find my invoices?

In the Billing section of your dashboard. Your invoices are listed there with a PDF download for each, along with your next billing date.

Is my listing shown in Farsi?

Your listing's content, yes — the name and description are entered and shown in Farsi, and there's a separate field for a Latin-script name. But the interface itself (buttons, dashboard, payment page) is mostly English. That is why this guide gives every button name in English.

Is my listing reviewed before it appears?

No — there is no manual review queue. A free listing appears at once; a paid one appears as soon as payment clears.
