PersiansHome is a directory and advertising platform that allows business owners, event organizers, and property advertisers to create and promote listings. We are not a marketplace and do not accept customer payments on behalf of merchants, and we are not a broker or agent for any property advertised here. We sell our own advertising/subscription plans to the people who list with us.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a contract. Keep your credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute such content to operate and promote the Service. You represent you have all rights to your content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
As between you and us, PersiansHome owns the directory as a whole and everything we create for it: the selection, verification, arrangement, categorization and geographic organization of the listings, and the directory database as a whole; the Persian-language translations of business names, categories and descriptions; all descriptive, editorial and help text we write; the PersiansHome name, logo, map design and other brand elements; and our software, page templates and the design of the Service.
We do not claim ownership of the individual factual details of any business — its name, address or telephone number — and nothing here restricts a business from using its own information. What we own, and what we enforce, is the compilation: the database as a collected, verified and organized whole, together with the original material we wrote.
Where a country's law grants a database right — including the sui generis database right under Directive 96/9/EC in the European Union and the corresponding right in the United Kingdom — we assert it. Building and maintaining this directory has required, and continues to require, substantial investment in obtaining, verifying and presenting its contents.
Search engines and answer engines are welcome. We publish a robots.txt and a sitemap, and crawling, indexing, summarizing and citing PersiansHome — with a link to the page the material came from — is permitted and encouraged. This section is not aimed at you.

These restrictions apply to every visitor and every automated client, not only to account holders. We may block, rate-limit or permanently bar any client, IP address or network we reasonably believe is doing any of the above, and we may do so without notice.
Enforcement. Breach of this section is a breach of these Terms. Depending on what is taken and where you are, it may also infringe our copyright, our database rights and our trade marks, and may violate computer-misuse law, including California Penal Code § 502. We reserve every remedy available to us, including injunctive relief, an account of profits, and damages. As section 14 provides, a claim for misuse of our intellectual property or for unauthorized access may be brought in court rather than in arbitration.

Payments are processed by Stripe; maps and other components may be provided by third parties. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The Service is provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLEwithout warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and those arising from course of dealing or usage.
IMPORTANT: We are not responsible for any false, inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information displayed on our map, directory, or application. All business listings, event information, property listings, contact details, addresses, hours of operation, prices, and other content are provided by users and third parties.
A business already on the map can be claimed by its owner. Where the email address on the claimant's account is the same address the listing already publishes, we transfer the listing automatically. That is a check on control of an email address and nothing more: it is not an endorsement, and it is not a finding that the claimant owns the business. Every other claim is reviewed by a person before anything moves. We may reverse a transfer at any time if a claim turns out to have been made in error or in bad faith, and we may ask for further evidence before or after a transfer.
While we may offer verification features, we do not guarantee the legitimacy, ownership, or authorization of any business, event, or property, or of any individual claiming to represent one — including anyone advertising a property they do not own or are not authorized to advertise. Users should exercise caution and verify credentials independently.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive damages, or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if none).
You will indemnify and hold harmless PersiansHome from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Business Discontinuation: We reserve the right to discontinue the Service at any time for any reason, including but not limited to financial, technical, or business reasons. In the event of Service discontinuation:
Account Termination: You may cancel at any time; we may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, or legal reasons. Sections intended to survive termination will continue to apply.
We are not liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: business failure, financial difficulties, market conditions, regulatory changes, or other force majeure events. Users assume all risks associated with prepaid services and acknowledge that business operations may cease at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Exclusive venue and jurisdiction lie in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS pursuant to its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, in English, before a single arbitrator, seated in Los Angeles County, California. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You and we waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class or representative action. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court or seek injunctive relief for misuse of intellectual property, fraud, or unauthorized access.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, notify us at info@persianshome.com with: your contact details, identification of the work, the URL(s) at issue, a statement under penalty of perjury, and your physical/electronic signature.
We may update these Terms; the updated date will appear above. Material changes will be notified where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
